Dear All,
As all of you must be aware, the next annual Conference of IADVL is being held at Chandigarh from 24th to 27th Jan, 2008. All of us here at Chandigarh are hoping to see everyone on the occasion. Its a great opportunity for all those who have been linked with the Deptt. of Dermatology, PGIMER to pay a visit to their Alma mater. And its also an opportunity for all of us to get together. Some of our like minded colleagues have put forward a novel idea that we can use this occasion to meet each other. The Deptt. has been in being for the last almost 30 years and since then it has seen a good number of pass outs. By God's grace all of them are well settled, not only in different parts of the country but all over the world. Unfortunately, there have been no formal re-unions of the alumni. So we suggest that during this conference we should meet over a dinner. This way the juniors shall come to know of their illustrious seniors and the older generation will have a taste of what the young ones are up to.
We have decided to hold this dinner on 26th evening, when there are no conference activities and everyone shall be free. Its going to be a collective effort on every body's part. I am forwarding this mail to all those whose contact information I could gather. Unfortunately the number is not enough. So I will like to request you to pass the word around to all those you are in contact with or whose contact details you have. It will be highly appreciable if you can revert back on this id at the earliest so that we can plan the event. Please let us know whether you are coming for the conference, and if yes then please make sure you keep your 26th Jan evening free. Here I will like to request that please do send a brief profile of yours as well, just a few words about your journey after PGI and your present placements. In case you are not coming over for the conference and the dinner, please do send us your contact details and profiles for future reference.
