2nd PGI Dermatology Alumni Association Meet

Dear All,Hope this finds you all enjoying the best life has to offer to anyone.As you must be aware, the next National Conference of The IADVL will be held in Bangaluru from 6th to 10th Jan, 2009. It was unanimously decided in our last meet that we will be holding regular meetings of PGI Dermatology Alumni at the National Conferences. The responsibility of organising the meet shall be on the Alumni member of that city. Dr Anil Abraham had very kindly taken up the responsibility for the next meet at Bangalore. I request you all to kindly co-operate with Dr Abraham in whatever way you can, to make this meet a success. And the easiest and basic we all can do is let him know our confirmed presence at the meet. So kindly inform im about your availability at the conference so that he can make necessary arrangements. Or you can al;so revert back to me, and I will pass on the details to him.Here I will like to request all those who have not yet registered with the Alumni to do that at the earliest. All you have to do is send a D/D of Rs 2000/- favouring "PGI Dermatology Alumni Associationn" payable at Chandigarh. Please also inform others around you, who may have been missed out in this list.I will also request Dr Anil Abraham to kindly inform the members about the date and venue for dinner, whenever its finally decided.Looking forward to see you all once again.Long live PGI Dermatology Alumni Association!!!Regards,

Warm greetings!
A bank account has been opened at SBI, PGI, Chandigarh for managing the funds of the association, with myself and Dr S D Mehta as authorised signatories. All those who wish to send in their life membership fee can send it either as cash to me or through a d/d or "payable at par cheque" in favour of "PGI Dermatology Alumni Association", payable at Chandigarh. As conveyed earlier, the membership fee is Rs 2000. All those who have already sent in their contributions will be receiving the receipts shortly.

PGI Dermatology Alumni Meet

The first PGI Dermatology Alumni Meet was held on 26/01/2008 at PGI Guest House, PGI, Chandigarh. It was a successful event with a good number of alumni attending the meet. Three of our teachers, Prof Bhushan Kumar, Prof V K Sharma and Prof Inderjeet Kaur also graced the occassion. All of us had a fun time. We missed all those colleagues who couldn't make it this time, and I am sure they also missed a very important event. The photographs of the event are being posted. They are a memory to cherish for ever.
